Will the Rise of Crypto Wreck the Google Gravy Train?

Most are aware by now that Google's business model relies on the constant tracking of our personal data, and selling it to third-parties without compensating us in any way.

What happens once Blockchain & Crypto begin the mass-adoption phase, and it becomes possible to opt out the greedy corporate middleman entirely? I've been obsessed with this idea since downloading shill alert Brave Browser a few months ago--it's basically a crypto-integrated Chrome clone that doesn't just block ALL trackers by default, but it PAYS you every time you view an ad. (The way it should be!)

Will Google be screwed once people start realizing that they're entitled compensation for giving their attention to advertisers? OR will Google find some way to divert this disruption and keep the gravy train rolling?

Curious what people's thoughts are on this.
