What are some new technologies or inventions that are made to interface or be used by or within the human body?

I recently read an article about those contact lenses that can zoom by blinking twice (a ways to go for sure, but interesting nonetheless). It made me wonder what other interesting inventions the folks in the labs may be working on or have already made?
