Theoretical Discussion: What if Silicon Valley Tech companies spread out their HQs across the continental US and left the Bay Area, taking along with them all techie transplants?

What if Silicon Valley tech companies suddenly decided to spread out across the continental US and moved their HQs away from the Bay Area taking with them all the transplant techies.

Taking up home base in all 50 states, including CA. Just not as concentrated here as they are now.

What do you guys think that world would be like?
